Engineered floors are made from a 3-layer structure to guarantee optimum dimensional stability consisting of a wear layer, middle layer and stabilising layer.
The layers are glued together at 90° angle blocking movement.
The result: A high quality plank structure that will stay
"in shape" for many years. Engineered floors with a lacquered
surface are easy to care for and ideally suited for allergy
sufferers. All you need to do is vacuum and wipe it with a
damp cloth.
Oil-treated floors should be vacuumed or swept and freshened
with a special cleaner twice a year. Most engineered floors
are fitted with the glue-free installation system. This means
you can easily install even long planks by yourself, and installation
mistakes are avoided because the planks align themselves automatically.
